Shards

Shards is a game where your only goal is to collect as many shards as you can and get your score as high as possible within 3 minutes.

The movement of the player, and some obstacles makes it more interesting.

Controls:

• WASD or arrow keys to move the player.
• Press spacebar or click on the screen for a small speed boost.

Note:

I've fairly recently started with game development (and programming in general to be honest) and this is the first game I've ever released. I'm all self-taught so I guess you should expect there to be some bugs and whatnot.

Still I just really enjoy making games even though all games I've made so far are very simple. I, however, thought this game turned out good enough to be shared publicly.

Before downloading:

This application will most likely be stopped by the windows SmartScreen the first time you download and run it. The reason is because this app is not signed, and buying a certificate is rather expensive for a small hobbyist developer like me.

You still have the option to run it though, as long as you trust me.
